I have a few "rescue" plants that I've adopted from my work over the years. My proudest moments are always when I take home a plant that's been neglected and give it the chance to reestablish itself and thrive. Specifically, I have one Bird of Paradise from a previous job that I took home after it was deemed too short and unsightly to go to a client. Less than a year later and it has pushed out so much new growth and stands taller than me!
