We’re excited to welcome to the stoop this September partners in business and life, Ian and Colleen Bock of The Acre! This dynamic duo are bringing their warm approach to “garden to table comfort food & drink” all the way from their Ridgewood, Queens spot.
Ian and Colleen's relationship has always been based on food and the outdoors- their restaurant, The Acre, tries to share that love with the people of Queens with their garden-to-table food and cocktail programs.
Colleen and Ian live on a half acre on Long Island with their two dogs, where they spend their weekends in their vegetable garden and foraging in the local woods and beaches. The connection to LI has allowed them to develop a strong relationship with a small, family owned farm in Suffolk County, where they pick up organic produce each week and fuels The Acre's truly seasonal food and drink menus.
