We'll gather for this dinner at our Brooklyn Navy Yard farm.
Sit down to a veritable tomato feast, a night with the nightshades, where you’ll be wined and dined by the Sungo(l)d herself. All hail the heirloom harvest!
Yes, you might say that the starry, striated Solar Flairs, the mystical, mouth-watering Moneymakers, and the buttery, bite-sized Bumblebees put a spell on us, but we. are. here. for. it.
This dinner celebrates our *unabashedly* favorite season on the farmers wheel, experienced through the tomato's versatility, her supple shapes, striking color palettes, diverse sizes, and of course, that sun-suctioned sweetness.
This year, we’re beyond excited to welcome Silvia Barban, chef and co-owner of LaRina Pastificio e Vino, to cook up the Italian feast of our dreams. It’s rumored that her infamous tomato leaf pasta- yes, you read that correctly- will make its rooftop debut. Tomatoes on tomatoes on tomatoes. Our perfect sandwich.
Dinner will start with a cocktail hour during which guests can sip on a summery garden-to-glass cocktail and snack on some delicious bites before moving into a family-style, four-course dinner, served down the length of our gorgeous communal table. We hope you'll join us for what is bound to be a memorable evening of the summer harvest. The beverages will be free-flowing as sweet tunes drift over a perfect tomato hazed sunset.

ABOUT THE FARM DINNERS: This dinner series is our way of celebrating our farmers, the talent of our favorite NYC chefs and local makers, and our love for food, community, and environmental sustainability. Growing food is a major part of our operation at Brooklyn Grange but our favorite part of what we do is being able to commune with you on our roofs! We invite you to gather, eat and learn with us at one of our four dinners: Veggiepalooza, a multi-course vegetarian feast, Sky High Tomato Dinner, an ode to our favorite nightshade, the Compost Dinner, a food waste focused and thought-provoking dining experience, and Pollinate Your Plate, a dinner, and love letter, highlighting the living landscape of our city!
