COLLINA STRADA PRESENTS SPRING/SUMMER ‘22 COLLECTION AT BROOKLYN GRANGE
New York - (September 7, 2021): Collina Strada opened New York Fashion Week presenting its 2022 Spring/Summer Collection, “Snails Pace” at Brooklyn Grange’s Sunset Park Farm.
Designed by Collina Strada’s Creative Director Hillary Taymor, the brightly colored collection celebrated sustainable fashion featuring an old wedding dress dyed green, a “nugget of trash” found on the street and turned into a belt buckle. The cast featured models of ages, sizes, and physical abilities who walked down the Bluestone path to a performance by singer, Dorian Electra.
In the show notes printed on seeded paper, Taymour included a letter template for show guests to write to their landlords to request solar panels and green roofs in accordance with local laws 92 and 94.
Over 150 people including Tommy Dorfman, Hari Nef, Kim Petras, Camila Mendes, and the 'First Daughter of Bushwick' Ella Emhhoff attended NYFW's first in-person event in 18th months.
